Karin Conroy is a unique blend of artist, analyst and technology enthusiast and sees the world as it can be. She uses her creative, analytical, and negotiation skills to drive toward elegant solutions that help her customers fulfill their missions. Conroy started her extensive career working with small organizations in a small beach town in Southern California. She helped develop their identity systems and web presence when the internet was still young which has fueled her interest in creatively developing small businesses.

Conroy recently gradutated with an MBA (emphasis in Marketing) from the University of California, Irvine. In 2002, she won the “Outstanding Achievement” award at the University of California, Irvine for her nonprofit marketing work in Thailand (more information here). In addition, Conroy served as the Director of Marketing at the largest Century 21 Franchise for nearly 5 years. As a part of the management team, Conroy was involved in the transition process and strategy of corporate acquisition. Conroy led a team and was responsible for management reporting, all corporate marketing initiatives, vendor relations and corporate communications.

Additionally, Conroy is a Senor Project Director for Shoestring Creative Group, the nonprofit’s marketing agency. She is offering marketing and public relations expertise to Minneapolis/St. Paul area nonprofits. She has been actively involved in a number of non-profit organizations, leading their marketing efforts and assisting in developing messaging and strategic systems for ongoing communications.

In her spare time she is a photography enthusiast and is an active member of ACES, (Anaheim Camera Enthusiasts Club) and NAPP (National Assocation of Photoshop Professionals). Her creative endeavours in photography can be seen on her photography portfolio website.
